Choosing to share the rest of your life with the person you love, or renewing your commitment to your existing union is indeed a reason to celebrate. At the centre of those celebrations will be the ceremony where you both declare that intention publicly.  

Traditional wedding ceremonies either in a Church or a ceremony conducted by a Registrar can be a little constrictive, overly formulaic and bound by rules and regulations. That’s where a Celebrant led service comes to the fore.

As a Wedding Celebrant, I will spend time getting you know you, listening to your hopes, dreams and aspirations for your magical day and, between us, we will create a ceremony that truly reflects you as a couple.

Celebrants are not bound by the traditional restrictions. I can conduct a ceremony anywhere and at any time. It can be held at a local established venue, in a field, in the woods, a barn, your garden, the list is endless. I have created a list of local venues that might be suitable on the links page.

Celebrant led ceremonies do not currently have any legal basis but there are moves afoot which hopefully will change the law within the next couple of years. Until that point, you will need a simple service at the Registry Office to make your marriage legal. But once you’ve done that, the sky is your limit.

The content of the ceremony will be as individual as you are and is only restricted by your imagination (but I can help with that).
